Control of Vectors and Pesticides
(Registration, Licensing and Certification)
Regulations 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Control of Vectors and Pesticides Act, the Minister for Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:

PART I

PRELIMINARY

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Control of Vectors and Pesticides (Registration, Licensing and Certification) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2000.

Definitions

2. In these Regulations —

“certified vector control worker” means a vector control worker who is granted a certificate or a provisional certificate under section 30 of the Act;

“licensed vector control technician” means a vector control technician who is granted a licence or a provisional licence under section 30 of the Act;

“registered vector control operator” means a vector control operator who is registered under section 30 of the Act.
