Central Provident Fund Act
(Chapter 36)
Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Payment to Proper Claimant) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25(4A) and 27L(8) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Specified Amount for Payment to Proper Claimant) Notification 2009 and shall, with the exception of paragraph 3, come into operation on 20th August 2009.
(2)  Paragraph 3 shall come into operation on 1st September 2009.
Amount specified for purposes of section 25(4A) of Act
2.  For the purposes of section 25(4A) of the Act, the amount specified shall be $9,000.
Amount specified for purposes of section 27L(8) of Act
3.  For the purposes of section 27L(8) of the Act, the amount specified shall be $9,000.
