(Amendment) Notification 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(3) of the Singapore Land Authority Act 2001, the Minister for Law makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Singapore Land Authority (Assignment of Functions) (Amendment) Notification 2023 and comes into operation on 15 June 2023.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. In the Singapore Land Authority (Assignment of Functions) Notification 2022 (G.N. No. S 187/2022), in paragraph 2 —

(a)

in sub‑paragraph (a), after “property”, insert “, including any process relating to the payment of conveyancing monies”;

(b)

in sub‑paragraph (b), replace the full‑stop at the end with a semi‑colon; and

(c)

after sub‑paragraph (b), insert —

“(c)	appointing any public body or private entity (including any financial institution), to provide services in connection with the electronic system mentioned in sub‑paragraph (a);
(d)	promoting and facilitating the adoption of electronic processes relating to or connected with any dealing in land or immovable property.”.
