Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act
(Amendment of First Schedule)
Order 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry) makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2016 and comes into operation on 4 August 2016.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word “; or” at the end of paragraph 1(b) and substituting a full‑stop;
(b)	by deleting sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph 1; and
(c)	by deleting paragraph 2.
