Police (Special Constabulary)
(Amendment) Regulations 2016
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 85 of the Police Force Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Police (Special Constabulary) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 10 August 2016.
New regulation 19A
2.  The Police (Special Constabulary) Regulations (Rg 3) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 19, the following regulation:
“Free food and accommodation
19A.  A special police officer is not to be charged for any food or accommodation that may be provided for the officer when the officer is required to undertake any training, duty or attendance.”.
Deletion of Part III
3.  Part III of the Police (Special Constabulary) Regulations is deleted.
