(COVID-19 Clearance)
(Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act 1976, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 Clearance) (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 26 June 2023.
Amendment of regulation 2
2.  In the Infectious Diseases (COVID‑19 Clearance) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 273/2021), in regulation 2(1) —
(a)in the definition of “approved test provider”, in paragraph (a), delete “or” at the end;
(b)in the definition of “approved test provider”, in paragraph (b), insert “or” at the end;
(c)in the definition of “approved test provider”, after paragraph (b), insert —
(c)who is authorised by a licence under the Healthcare Services Act 2020 to provide any licensable healthcare service that includes the provision of an approved test;”;
(d)in the definition of “corresponding foreign authority”, in paragraph (a), replace “Director” with “Director‑General of Health”;
(e)in the definition of “corresponding foreign authority”, in paragraph (a)(ii), delete “or” at the end; and
(f)in the definition of “corresponding foreign authority”, in paragraph (a), after sub‑paragraph (iii), insert —
(iv)under the Healthcare Services Act 2020 of granting licences to persons to provide licensable healthcare services in that foreign country; or”.
