Town Council of Jalan Besar
(Fee for Late Payment of Conservancy and
Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Jalan Besar hereby makes the following By-laws:

Citation and commencement

1. These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Jalan Besar (Fee for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2000.

Amendment of by-law 2

2. By-law 2 (1) of the Town Council of Jalan Besar (Fee for Late Payment of Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws (By 65) is amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:

“(a)	$1.50 for every reminder;
(b)	$3.50 for every demand letter; and
(c)	$10 for every final notice,”.
