Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment) Notification 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) of the Free Trade Zones Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment) Notification 2009 and shall come into operation on 6th January 2009.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Item (4) in the First Schedule to the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) Notification (N3) is deleted and the following item substituted therefor:

“

(4) PSA CORPORATION LIMITED (Pasir Panjang Wharves/Multi-Purpose Terminal)

All that area occupied by “PSA CORPORATION LIMITED (PASIR PANJANG WHARVES/MULTI-PURPOSE TERMINAL) – FREE TRADE ZONE” containing an area of approximately 282,664 square metres and bounded by West Coast Highway, Pasir Panjang Road and Pasir Panjang Fairway.

The boundary commences at the western-most corner of the aforesaid “PSA CORPORATION LIMITED (PASIR PANJANG WHARVES/ MULTI-PURPOSE TERMINAL) – FREE TRADE ZONE” which point’s co-ordinates are North 29,101.151 metres and East 21,800.225 metres of the Singapore Land Authority SVY 21 Datum and runs approximately as follows:
