Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Pleasure Craft) (Amendment) Regulations 2001
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Act, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Pleasure Craft) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2001.
Amendment of regulation 6
2.  Regulation 6 of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Pleasure Craft) Regulations (Rg 6) is amended by deleting paragraph (5) and substituting the following paragraph:
(5)  The Port Master may grant a licence in respect of a pleasure craft which is used to carry more than 12 persons upon compliance with such safety requirements as the Port Master may require.”.
