Infectious Diseases Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 65 of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Infectious Diseases Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 1998 and shall come into operation on 15th August 1998.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Infectious Diseases Act is amended by inserting, immediately after item (u), the following item:

“(v)	Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection.”.
