(Chapter 118)

Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment) Notification 2008

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Government Contracts Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Government Contracts (Authorisation) (Amendment) Notification 2008 and shall come into operation on 18th August 2008.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Government Contracts (Authorisation) Notification 2008 (G.N. No. S 174/2008) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 3 in Part II, the following items:

“

3A. Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee

Contracts not exceeding $1 million.

3B. Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee

Contracts not exceeding $750,000.

”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (e) in the second column of item 5 in Part VIII, the following paragraph:

“(f)	Tenancy Agreements.”;

(c)

by deleting item 10 in Part VIII;

(d)

by deleting the words “Manager, Administration Branch (Corporate Services)” in the first column of item 11 in Part VIII and substituting the words “Manager, Corporate Administration Branch”;

(e)

by inserting, immediately after the words “Managing Director” in the first column of item 4 in Part X, the words “/Head (Communications Support Group)”; and

(f)

by inserting, immediately after the words “General Manager” in the first column of item 5 in Part X, the words “/Project Director (Arts School Development)”.
