Constitution of the Republic of Singapore
Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) (Amendment No. 4) Order 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 110D(1) and (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the President, on the advice of the Prime Minister, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order may be cited as the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) (Amendment No. 4) Order 2000 and shall, with the exception of paragraph 3(a), come into operation on 1st October 2000.
(2)  Paragraph 3(a) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st April 2000.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  Paragraph 2(1) of the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) Order (O 2) is amended by deleting sub-paragraphs (e), (h), (k), (n), (o) and (r) in the definition of “General Services”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  The Schedule to the Public Service (Special and Senior Personnel Boards) Order is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after the words “Ministry of Community Development” in the 2nd and 3rd lines of paragraph (a) in the second column of item 4, the words “and Sports”; and
(b)by deleting paragraph (b) in the second column of item 4 and substituting the following paragraph:
Timescale officers in the Information Service, wherever posted.”.
