Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Lao People’s Democratic Republic) Order 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17 of the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Lao People’s Democratic Republic) Order 2007 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th June 2007.

Declaration of Lao People’s Democratic Republic as prescribed foreign country

2. The Lao People’s Democratic Republic is hereby declared as a prescribed foreign country for the purposes of Part III of the Act.

Made this 6th day of August 2007.
