(Fees) (Amendment)
Regulations 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 71 of the Health Products Act 2007, the Health Sciences Authority, with the approval of the Minister for Health, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Health Products (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 26 June 2023.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the Health Products (Fees) Regulations 2022 (G.N. No. S 450/2022), in the First Schedule —

(a)

in Part 1, in item 4(a)(i), replace “healthcare institution licensee” with “nursing home licensee or healthcare service licensee”;

(b)

in Part 1, in item 4(a)(ii), replace “healthcare institution licensee” with “nursing home licensee, healthcare service licensee”;

(c)

in Part 2, replace the definition of “healthcare institution licensee” with —

“ “healthcare service licensee” has the meaning given by regulation 2(1) of the CTGTP Regulations;”; and

(d)

in Part 2, after the definition of “non‑clinical purpose”, insert —

“ “nursing home licensee” has the meaning given by regulation 2(1) of the CTGTP Regulations;”.

Amendment of Sixth Schedule

3. In the Health Products (Fees) Regulations 2022, in the Sixth Schedule, in Part 1, in item 8(a), replace “private hospital or medical clinic” wherever it appears with “nursing home”.
