Town Council of Pasir Ris-punggol (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Pasir Ris-Punggol hereby makes the following By-laws:

Citation and commencement

1. These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Pasir Ris-Punggol (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By-laws 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2004.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Town Council of Pasir Ris-Punggol (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2002 (G.N. No. S 361/2002) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items 4 to 14 and substituting the following items:

4. 4-room flat

5. 4-room (Design and Build) flat

6. 5-room flat

7. 5-room (Design and Build) flat

$77.50

$68.50.

8. Executive apartment

$80.

9. Executive apartment (Design and Build)

$85.

10. Shop with living accommodation

$1.73 per square metre of the area of the shop subject to a minimum of $57.75 in addition to the reduced rate of conservancy and service charges for the equivalent room type specified in items 1 to 7.

11. Premises for use as —

(a) child care centre or family service centre approved by the Ministry of Community Development and Sports (MCDS), or a PAP community foundation education centre or kindergarten

13.283 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.

(b) Neighbourhood Police Post or Singapore Civil Defence Post

86.625 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.

No charge.

12. Premises used for the purposes of a charity as defined in section 2 of the Charities Act (Cap. 37)

13.283 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.

13. Other commercial property

$1.73 per square metre of the area of the property subject to a minimum of $57.75.

14. Any owner or tenant of a flat in any residential property which is provided with Integrated Security System (ISS)

Additional $9 per month.

(b)

by deleting the words “items 1 to 9” in paragraphs (1) and (2) under the heading “Note” and substituting in each case the words “items 1 to 7”.
