(Polling Stations) (Amendment)
Regulations 2024
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 102 of the Parliamentary Elections Act 1954, the Prime Minister makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Parliamentary Elections (Polling Stations) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 14 June 2024.
Amendment of regulation 1
2.  In the Parliamentary Elections (Polling Stations) Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 233/2019) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 1, before “Polling Stations”, insert “Ordinary”.
Amendment of regulation 2
3.  In the principal Regulations, in regulation 2 —
(a)in the regulation heading, after “Act”, insert “for ordinary polling station”; and
(b)in paragraph (1), replace “The” with “For an ordinary polling station, the”.
Amendment of regulation 3
4.  In the principal Regulations, in regulation 3 —
(a)in the regulation heading, before “polling station”, insert “ordinary”;
(b)replace “a polling station” with “an ordinary polling station”; and
(c)in paragraphs (a) and (b), before “polling station”, insert “ordinary”.
