(Exemption) (No. 29)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 29) Notification 2011.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Crazy Cash Race at Marina Bay Sands” promotion to be held from 8th August 2011 to 18th September 2011 (both dates inclusive) and the following events to be held as part of the promotion:

(a)

every “Daily Kiosk Game” to be held at the designated kiosks within the premises of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, on the following days and times from 8th August 2011 to 15th September 2011 (both dates inclusive):

(i)	Mondays to Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 10.30 p.m.; and
(ii)	Fridays and Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.; and

(b)

every “Finale Draw” to be held at Basement 2 of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands from 16th September 2011 to 18th September 2011 (both dates inclusive), between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. daily, in 6 hourly sessions.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 4th August 2011
