Building Control (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the Building Control Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Control (Amendment No. 3) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 14th September 1998.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Part II of the First Schedule to the Building Control Regulations (Rg 5) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word “(single-storey)” in items (15), (25) and (37);
(b)	by deleting the words “(single-storey with or without mezzanine floor)” in item (17); and
(c)	by deleting the word “(uncovered)” in item (20).
