(Shared Paths)
(Amendment No. 2) Order 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Active Mobility (Shared Paths) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2020 and comes into operation on 18 June 2020.

Amendment of paragraph 3

2. Paragraph 3 of the Active Mobility (Shared Paths) Order 2018 (G.N. No. S 260/2018) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after sub‑paragraph (a) of sub‑paragraph (1), the following sub‑paragraph:

“(aa)

if the path abuts on a footpath, is either —

(i)	demarcated with a red or yellow line (whether continuous or broken) of 100 millimetres in width; or
(ii)	red, blue, green or yellow in colour, or coated with a dark grey fibre reinforced polymer cement coating;”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after sub‑paragraph (a) of sub‑paragraph (2), the following sub‑paragraph:

“(aa)

if the path abuts on a footpath, is either —

(i)	demarcated with a red or yellow line (whether continuous or broken) of 100 millimetres in width; or
(ii)	red, blue, green or yellow in colour, or coated with a dark grey fibre reinforced polymer cement coating;”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after sub‑paragraph (a) of sub‑paragraph (3), the following sub-paragraph:

“(aa)

if the path abuts on a footpath, is demarcated with a red or yellow line (whether continuous or broken) of 100 millimetres in width;”.
