(Prescribed Forms) (Amendment)
Regulations 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 81 of the Presidential Elections Act 1991, the Prime Minister makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Presidential Elections (Prescribed Forms) (Amendment) Regulations 2023 and come into operation on 1 July 2023.
New regulation 11A
2.  In the Presidential Elections (Prescribed Forms) Regulations (Rg 1), after regulation 11, insert —
Post-election declaration by candidates
11A.  For the purposes of section 55A(2) of the Act, the declaration mentioned in section 55A(1) of the Act must be in Form P13A in the Schedule.”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  In the Presidential Elections (Prescribed Forms) Regulations, in the Schedule, after Form P13, insert —

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS ACT 1991
POST-ELECTION DECLARATION
I ........................................................... (NRIC No. ........................), declare that, to the best of my knowledge and belief —
(a)no foreigner has been authorised by me or any of my election agents under section 65(2) of the Presidential Elections Act 1991 to conduct any election activity for the purpose of procuring my electoral success at the election;
(b)the conduct of any election activity by me or any of my election agents for the purpose of procuring my electoral success at the election, was not undertaken by me or any of my election agents pursuant to any impermissible arrangement as defined by section 55A(5) of the Presidential Elections Act 1991; and
(c)the conduct of any election activity for the purpose of procuring my electoral success at the election, was not authorised by me or any of my election agents pursuant to any impermissible arrangement as defined by section 55A(5) of the Presidential Elections Act 1991.
