(Exemption) (No. 31)
Notification 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 31) Notification 2011.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Lucky Draw Promotional Activity 2011” to be held from 1st September 2011 to 29th February 2012 (both dates inclusive);
(b)	the monthly draws to be held at the premises of the Singapore Turf Club as part of the “Lucky Draw Promotional Activity 2011” on 7th October 2011, 4th November 2011, 2nd December 2011, 6th January 2012, 3rd February 2012 and 2nd March 2012; and
(c)	the Grand Draw to be held at the Singapore Racecourse as part of the “Lucky Draw Promotional Activity 2011” on 9th March 2012.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 18th August 2011.

Cancellation

3. The Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 20) Notification 2011 (G.N. No. S 338/2011) is cancelled.
