Prevention of Pollution of the Sea
(Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and
Co-operation) (Amendment) Regulations 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 34 of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea Act, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co‑operation) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 1 October 2016.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. Paragraph 4(2) of the Second Schedule to the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea (Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co‑operation) Regulations (Rg 5) is amended by deleting the words “Info‑communications Development Authority of Singapore” and substituting the words “Info-communications Media Development Authority (established by section 3 of the Info‑communications Media Development Authority Act 2016 (Act 22 of 2016))”.
