Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy)
(Amendment No. 2) Order 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2019 and comes into operation on 1 July 2019.

Amendment of Third Schedule

2. The Third Schedule to the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy) Order 2011 (G.N. No. S 371/2011) is amended —

(a)

by deleting sub‑paragraph (b) of paragraph 1; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph 1, the following paragraph:

“2. A work permit holder who is employed under the “Voluntary Welfare Organisations/Commercial Homes Scheme” that is administered by the Ministry of Manpower, or any class of such scheme.”.
