Education Endowment and Savings Schemes
(Grants) (Amendment)
Regulations 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6(1)(a) and 24 of the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes Act, the Minister for Education hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes (Grants) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 and shall come into operation on 31 July 2013.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes (Grants) Regulations (Rg 2) is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “junior college”, the following definition:

“ “polytechnic” means a polytechnic established by a public Act;”.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3 of the Education Endowment and Savings Schemes (Grants) Regulations is amended by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (g) and substituting a semi-colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(h)	any polytechnic.”.
