Environmental Public Health Act
(Chapter 95)
Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) (Amendment) Regulations 2001
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 113 of the Environmental Public Health Act, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into operation on 1st February 2001.
Deletion and substitution of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) Regulations (Rg 3) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
FIRST SCHEDULE
Regulation 24(1) and (2)
Part I
Refuse Disposal
1.  For any refuse, matter or thing conveyed to Ulu Pandan Refuse Incineration Plant or Senoko Incineration Plant by any person at his expense for burning thereat, which refuse, matter or thing the Commissioner, in his discretion, accepts for the said purpose —
(a) Disposal Base Gate Fee
 
 
$3.55 for every 0.05 tonne or part thereof;
 
 
(b) Peak Period Surcharge
 
 
In addition to the fee payable under sub-paragraph (a) —
(i) Senoko Incineration Plant
 
Nil
(ii) Ulu Pandan Refuse Incineration Plant
 
$0.30 for every 0.05 tonne or part thereof between 7.30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
2.  For any refuse, matter or thing conveyed to the Tuas Incineration Plant, Tuas South Incineration Plant or Tuas Marine Transfer Station by any person at his expense for disposal, burning or deposition thereat, which refuse, matter or thing the Commissioner, in his discretion, accepts for the said purpose —
(a) Disposal Base Gate Fee
 
 
$3.35 for every 0.05 tonne or part thereof;
 
 
(b) Peak Period Surcharge
 
 
Nil.
 
 
3   For a Certificate of Disposal
 
$10.
Part II
Kim Chuan Transfer Station
For any refuse, matter or thing conveyed to Kim Chuan Transfer Station, by any person at his expense, for haulage by the Commissioner to an incineration plant for burning thereat —
(a)Haulage Fee
$0.45 cents for every 0.05 tonne or part thereof;
(b)Disposal Fee —
(i)Disposal Base Gate Fee
$3.35 for every 0.05 tonne or part thereof;
(ii)Peak Period Surcharge
Nil.”.
