Public Order
(Exempt Assemblies and Processions)
(Amendment) Order 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 of the Public Order Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Public Order (Exempt Assemblies and Processions) (Amendment) Order 2020 and comes into operation on 26 June 2020.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Public Order (Exempt Assemblies and Processions) Order 2009 (G.N. No. S 489/2009) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately after the words “(Election Meetings” wherever they appear in item 4(1), the words “and Processions”; and
(b)	by inserting, immediately after the words “day of nomination” in items 12(1) and 13, the words “(except 30 June 2020)”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. Item 5(1) of the Second Schedule to the Public Order (Exempt Assemblies and Processions) Order 2009 is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “day of nomination”, the words “(except 30 June 2020)”.
