Public Order
(Composition of Offences)
(Amendment) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Public Order Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Public Order (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 26 June 2020.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Public Order (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 250/2016) is amended —

(a)	by inserting, immediately after the words “Regulations 2009” in paragraph (b), the words “or the Public Order (Election Meetings and Processions in Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2009”; and
(b)	by inserting, immediately after the words “Regulations 2017” in paragraph (d), the words “or the Public Order (Election Meetings and Processions in Presidential Elections) Regulations 2017”.
