(Amendment) Notification 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 38(1) of the Fire Safety Act 1993, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Fire Safety (Premises Requiring Fire Safety Manager and Company Emergency Response Team) (Amendment) Notification 2023 and is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.

Miscellaneous amendments

2. In the Fire Safety (Premises Requiring Fire Safety Manager and Company Emergency Response Team) Notification 2020 (G.N. No. S 768/2020) —

(a)	in paragraph 2(1), replace “section 22” with “section 38”;
(b)	in paragraph 2(2), replace “(Cap. 29)” with “1989”;
(c)	in the Schedule, in Part 1, in paragraph 1, in the definitions of “boarding premises” and “foreign employee”, delete “(Act 3 of 2015)”; and
(d)	in the Schedule, in Part 2, in the Part heading, replace “SECTION 22” with “SECTION 38”.
