Public Transport Council (Penalty Fees)
(Amendment) Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 24C and 28(2)(h) of the Public Transport Council Act, the Public Transport Council, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Transport Council (Penalty Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and shall come into operation on 8 January 2015.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Public Transport Council (Penalty Fees) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 303/2008) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately before the definition of “basic bus service”, the following definition:

“ “adult monthly travel pass” means a ticket at a discounted fare which is valid for making multiple trips using the basic bus service, or rapid transit system service, or both services, during a fixed period and which may only be used by a person if he is entitled to do so under the conditions of use;”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the word “use” in the definition of “concession ticket”, the words “, and includes an adult monthly travel pass”.
