Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) (Amendment No. 9) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4 and 9 of the Parking Places Act, the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) (Amendment No.9) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st October 1998.

Amendment of Schedule

2.—(1) The following provisions of the Schedule to the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) Order 1997 (G.N. No. S 274/97) under the heading Parking Places set out in the first column are amended in the manner set out in the second column thereof:

Insert, immediately after paragraph (f),the following paragraph:

“(g)	The area off Pine Close and delineated in Plan 64A.”.

(b)

Item (12)

Insert, immediately after paragraph (j),the following paragraph:

“(k)	The area off Jurong West Street 52 and delineated in Plan 76D.”.

PART IX

Item (5)

Delete.

(2) The Schedule to the Parking Places (Housing and Development Board) Order 1997 is amended by inserting, immediately after Part XVI, the following Part:

“PART XVII

Parking Charges:

(1)	For a motor car or a motor vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 1,500 kilograms —

(a)	45 cents per half hour or part thereof (7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.).

(b)	$75 per month.

(2)	For a motor vehicle with fewer than 4 wheels and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —

(a)	60 cents per day (7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.).

(b)	60 cents per night (10.30 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day).

(c)	$15 per month.

(3)	For a motor-cycle or a motor-scooter occupying 2 motor-cycle parking lots and the weight of which unladen does not exceed 400 kilograms —

(a)	$1.20 per day (7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.).

(b)	$1.20 per night (10.30 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following day).

(c)	$30 per month.

(4)	For a motor vehicle with a seating capacity of more than 11 persons, inclusive of the driver, and the weight of which unladen exceeds 1,500 kilograms —

(a)	90 cents per half hour or part thereof (7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.).

(b)	$130 per month.

Parking Places:

Tampines Branch Office Parking Place.

The area of Tampines Street 92 and delineated in Plan 305.”.
