Town Council of Jurong (Conservancy and
Service Charges) (Amendment No. 2) By-Laws 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Jurong hereby makes the following By-laws:

Citation and commencement

1. These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Jurong (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment No. 2) By‑Laws 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 August 2014.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Town Council of Jurong (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2012 (G.N. No. S 387/2012) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 3, the following item:

“3A.	3-room Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme flat

$75

$59.”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 4, the following item:

“4A.	4-room Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme flat

$85

$72.”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 5, the following item:

“5A.	5-room Design-Build-and-Sell Scheme flat

$95

$85.”;

(d)

by deleting the words “items 1 to 5” in paragraphs (1) and (2) under the heading “Note” and substituting in each case the words “items 1 to 5A”; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately after the word “in” in the definition of “authorised occupier” in paragraph (3) under the heading “Note”, the words “section 2(1) of”.
