(Exemption) (No. 51)
Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 51) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Geylang West Community Club Women’s Executive Committee (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Active Agers’ Mind Game (Mahjong) 2016” promotion to be held from 12 October 2016 to 4 December 2016 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the mahjong games to be held at rooms #02‑14, #02‑15 and #02‑16 of Geylang West Community Club (called in this Notification the event venue) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 4 December 2016.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
