Environmental Public Health Act
(Chapter 95)
Environmental Public Health (Cemeteries) (Amendment) Regulations 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 114 of the Environmental Public Health Act, the Minister for the Environment hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Public Health (Cemeteries) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st November 1998.
New regulation 3A
2.  The Environmental Public Health (Cemeteries) Regulations (Rg 9) are amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 3, the following regulation:
Period of burial
3A.  Except as otherwise determined by the Commissioner, a permit issued under regulation 3 on or after 1st November 1998 shall permit a corpse to be buried in any cemetery for a period of 15 years.”.
Deletion of regulation 8
3.  Regulation 8 of the Environmental Public Health (Cemeteries) Regulations is deleted.
