Poisons (Amendment No. 3) Rules 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(1) of the Poisons Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Poisons (Amendment No. 3) Rules 1998 and shall come into operation on 15th October 1998.
Amendment of rule 6
2.  Rule 6 of the Poisons Rules (R 1) is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “containing lead tetra-ethyl” in the definition of “petrol” in paragraph (1); and
(b)by deleting the words “measured as lead in concentration greater than 0.15 gramme in one litre of petrol” in paragraph (3).
