Customs (Duties) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2001

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(1) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs (Duties) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2001 and shall come into operation on 13th October 2001.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Customs Duties (O 4) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “40% or $5.00 per dal” in column (7) against HS Code 2710.00 220 and substituting “35% or $4.40 per dal”;
(b)	by deleting “40% or $4.20 per dal” in column (7) against HS Code 2710.00 240 and substituting “35% or $3.70 per dal”; and
(c)	by deleting “40% or $4.70 per dal” in column (7) against HS Code 2710.00 260 and substituting “35% or $4.10 per dal”. [G.N. Nos. S 467/97; S 87/98; S 571/98; S 13/99; S 72/2000; S 620/2000; S90/2001]
