(Amendment) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 411 of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Companies (Filing of Documents) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 31 August 2018.

Amendment of regulation 36

2. Regulation 36(1) of the Companies (Filing of Documents) Regulations (Rg 7) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “the return referred to in section 197(1) of the Act” and substituting the words “a return mentioned in section 197(1) or (1A) of the Act”; and
(b)	by deleting the word “must” in sub‑paragraph (c) and substituting the words “unless the company is a dormant relevant company the directors of which are exempt under section 201A of the Act from the requirements of section 201 of the Act for the financial year in relation to which the return is filed, must”.
