Futures Trading (Financial Instruments)
Order 2001
In exercise of the powers conferred by the definition of “financial instruments” in section 2(1) of the Futures Trading Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Futures Trading (Financial Instruments) Order 2001 and shall come into operation on 22nd October 2001.
Financial instruments for purposes of Act
2.  A share in the share capital of a corporation is a financial instrument for the purposes of this Act.
