Income Tax (Exemption of Workfare
Bicentennial Bonus) Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1)(zp) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Income Tax (Exemption of Workfare Bicentennial Bonus) Notification 2019 and comes into operation on 1 August 2019.

Exemption

2. Any cash payment to an individual, made by the Government under the Workfare Bicentennial Bonus scheme, is exempt from tax.
