Infectious Diseases
(Mass Gathering Testing for
Coronavirus Disease 2019)
(Amendment No. 6) Regulations 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Infectious Diseases (Mass Gathering Testing for Coronavirus Disease 2019) (Amendment No. 6) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 22 July 2021.
Amendment of regulation 13
2.  Regulation 13 of the Infectious Diseases (Mass Gathering Testing for Coronavirus Disease 2019) Regulations 2021 (G.N. No. S 273/2021) is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “item 9 or 10” in paragraph (2A) and substituting the words “item 1 or 9”;
(b)by deleting paragraph (2B);
(c)by deleting the semi-colon at the end of the definition of “spectator sporting event” in paragraph (3) and substituting a full‑stop; and
(d)by deleting the definition of “wedding special cohort” in paragraph (3).
Amendment of Part 1 of Second Schedule
3.  Part 1 of the Second Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Mass Gathering Testing for Coronavirus Disease 2019) Regulations 2021 is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately before item 2, the following item:
1.A place, building or other premises at which a wedding takes place or is to take place.
The time —
(a)starting 60 minutes before the time, or the earliest time if more than one, the wedding is stated will begin in any invitation relating to the wedding; and
(b)ending 60 minutes after the time, or the latest time if more than one, the wedding is stated will end in any invitation relating to the wedding.
”;
(b)by deleting “250” in item 6(a) and substituting “100”; and
(c)by deleting items 9 and 10 and substituting the following item:
9.A place, building or other premises (other than a place of residence or on board a vessel) at which a solemnization of a marriage takes place or is to take place, being a solemnization to which more than 48 guests are invited to attend.
The time —
(a)starting 60 minutes before the time the solemnization of the marriage is stated will begin in any invitation relating to the solemnization; and
(b)ending 60 minutes after the time the solemnization of the marriage is stated will end in any invitation relating to the solemnization.
