Public Order Act 2009

Public Order (Unrestricted Area) (Amendment) Order 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Public Order Act 2009, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Public Order (Unrestricted Area) (Amendment) Order 2009 and shall come into operation on 5th November 2009.
Amendment of paragraph 4
2.  Paragraph 4(1) of the Public Order (Unrestricted Area) Order 2009 (G.N. No. S 491/2009) is amended by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (a), the following sub-paragraph:
“(aa)only citizens and permanent residents of Singapore take part in the demonstration and the organiser must not allow any person who is neither a citizen nor a permanent resident of Singapore to take part in the demonstration;”.
