Public Order (Us-asean Summit 2009) Declaration 2009

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21 of the Public Order Act 2009, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Declaration:

Citation

1. This Declaration may be cited as the Public Order (US-ASEAN Summit 2009) Declaration 2009.

US-ASEAN Summit 2009 is special event

2. The event known as US-ASEAN Summit 2009 being held at the Tanglin area on 15th November 2009 is hereby declared a special event for the purposes of Part III of the Act.

Special event site

3. —(1) The special event site for the US-ASEAN Summit 2009 is part of the area in the Tanglin area described in the Schedule.

(2) Notwithstanding sub-paragraph (1), any land that is not a public place shall not be part of the special event site.

Period of special event

4. The period for which this Declaration is in force is the whole of 15th November 2009 only.
