Securities Industry (Exempt Stock Market) (No. 3) Declaration 2001
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15(2) of the Securities Industry Act, the Deputy Prime Minister, BG (NS) Lee Hsien Loong, hereby makes the following Declaration:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Declaration may be cited as the Securities Industry (Exempt Stock Market) (No. 3) Declaration 2001 and shall come into operation on 12th November 2001.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The stock market established or maintained by the Australian Stock Exchange Limited in connection with the Foreign Market Linkage is hereby declared to be an exempt stock market for the purpose of the Act.
(2)  In this paragraph, “Foreign Market Linkage” means the cross border securities trading linkage between the Australian Stock Exchange Limited and the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
