Constitution of the Republic of Singapore
Singapore Citizenship (Amendment) Rules 2003
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 140 and section 4 of the Third Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Singapore Citizenship (Amendment) Rules 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2004.
Amendment of rule 4
2.  Rule 4 of the Singapore Citizenship Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting the words “respectively in the Forms set out in the First Schedule” and substituting the words “in such form as the Registrar may determine”.
Deletion of First Schedule
3.  The First Schedule to the Singapore Citizenship Rules is deleted.
