Police Force Act

Police Force (Police Powers of Investigation for Intelligence Officers) Notification 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 58B(1)(a) of the Police Force Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Police Force (Police Powers of Investigation for Intelligence Officers) Notification 2002 and shall come into operation on 15th November 2002.
Police powers of investigation
2.  Any intelligence officer designated for the purposes of section 58B of the Act shall have all the powers of investigation conferred on police officers in relation to the investigation of offences under the following written laws:
(a)Computer Misuse Act (Cap. 50A);
(b)Maintenance of Religious Harmony Act (Cap. 167A);
(c)Official Secrets Act (Cap. 213);
(d)Protected Areas and Protected Places Act (Cap. 256);
(e)Statutory Bodies and Government Companies (Protection of Secrecy) Act (Cap. 319); and
(f)United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) Regulations 2001 (G.N. No. S 561/2001).
