Road Traffic Act

Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) (No. 4) Order 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) (No. 4) Order 2008.
Exemption
2.  Section 101 of the Act shall not apply to a vehicle which bears any registration number set out in the Schedule and which —
(a)is used as a private hire car between 10th November 2008 and 18th November 2008 (both dates inclusive) by C & P Rent-A-Car (Pte) Ltd for the purpose of the event known as the Barclays Singapore Open 2008;
(b)has valid insurance cover for its use as a private hire car when it is so used; and
(c)displays a label issued by the Registrar in such manner as he may require.
