Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 11) Notification 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 11) Notification 1998 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 9th November 1998.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification (N 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Harbour View Hotel Singapore” in item (25) and substituting the words “Copthorne Harbour View Singapore”;
(b)	by deleting the words “King’s Hotel” in item (45) and substituting the words “Copthorne King’s Singapore”; and
(c)	by deleting the words “Novotel Orchid Singapore” in item (53) and substituting the words “Copthorne Orchid Singapore”.
