Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Education) (Amendment) Notification 2010

Variation of Responsibility of Minister for Education

It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 1st December 2009, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Education) Notification 2008 (G.N. No. S 200/2008) —

(a)	by inserting, immediately above the words “Government Schools and Government-Aided Schools.” under the heading “ Departments/Statutory Bodies”, the words “Council for Private Education.”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “Private Educational Institutions.” under the heading “Subjects” and substituting the words “Private Education Institutions.”.

Citation

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Education) (Amendment) Notification 2010.
