Estate Duty (Amendment) Act
(Commencement) Notification 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Estate Duty (Amendment) Act 2000, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Estate Duty (Amendment) Act (Commencement) Notification 2000.
2.—(1)  The Estate Duty (Amendment) Act 2000 shall, with the exception of sections 2 and 7, come into operation on 18th December 2000.
(2)  Sections 2 and 7 of the Estate Duty (Amendment) Act 2000 shall come into operation on 1st January 2001.
