Public Transport Council Act

Public Transport Council Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Public Transport Council Act, the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Public Transport Council Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 6th February 1998.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  Paragraph 1 of the First Schedule to the Public Transport Council Act is deleted and the following paragraph substituted therefor:
“Constitution of Council
1.  The Council shall consist of —
(a)such number of representatives from public transport companies; and
(b)not more than 9 other members,
to be appointed by the Minister.”.
Made this 3rd day of February 1998.
