Fire Safety
(Regulated Fire Safety Products)
(Amendment) Regulations 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 113 of the Fire Safety Act 1993, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Fire Safety (Regulated Fire Safety Products) (Amendment) Regulations 2024 and come into operation on 19 July 2024.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. In the Fire Safety (Regulated Fire Safety Products) Regulations 2020 (G.N. No. S 775/2020), in the First Schedule —

(a)

in item 19, replace “door closer” with “concealed door closer or digital lockset certified together with the fire‑rated door or both”; and

(b)

after item 39, insert —

“40.	A standalone digital lockset

41.	A surface‑mounted door closer”.
